La Infographic represents a retrospective change from the peseta to what today is the euro.
The word Peseta was used in America and Catalonia in the early eighteenth century to refer to the actual divisor of two of silver by weight, the actual eight. In 1868 the official coinage of the peseta was decided. Since then, the Spanish Peseta has suffered different variations in the design and format in its coinage for finally disappear in benefit of the euro.
